History of digiscoping

Let us look into the history of how digiscoping started. I will not deny that there are people who have been trying to take photographs through the spotting scope eyepiece, but how successful it was then? When did they try it? Did anyone knows about it? Well, it we want to debate on that, it will never end. If only someone recorded it. In the fish farming industry, Fan Li is known as the father of fish farming (or sort-of), because it was written down properly. Maybe there are others who have been doing fish farming before him. Same case in digiscoping. So, if Laurence Poh promotes the art of telephotography with a spotting scope and named it digiscoping, so, he can be declared as the father of digiscoping.

Laurence is one of the most helpful and great digiscopers I have ever met. Though I don't get a chance to be out there with him on the field, I did attend one of his talk while he was in Kuala Lumpur with several pioneering digiscoper from Ipoh.

Swarovski scope price increase

News that I received on my mailbox today mentioned that Swarovski is raising prices their prices at 5%-7% . Though some consider it is not too much of an increment. But still, you may want to think about it whether to buy it as Chistmas is around the corner.

Digiscopers and bird watchers from Europe are buying products while birding in United States. So, what are you waiting for?
